Inspired by Iffer's Little Nest blogpost on Pretty Shoes, I was reminded of my two pairs, one mine and one for Little Miss Me-Too.

I can't fit my pair (and bought it for $7 anyway) because I didn't mean for them to be worn... but to be displayed in my "boudoir" :) It's not expensive, it's not over the top... it's just beautiful to me.



And of course Hannah has to have her pair. It's pretty... for formal events only. (Which is why it's high up on her dresser... everything else gets shlumpped in the sandpit.

By now I'm sure that you've seen Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham in her killer latex, thigh high 5 1/2" platform boots - with no heel.


















These beauties are by Antonio Berardi and are the very latest in the "extreme shoe" trend that's been happening in fashion for the past few years...and I gotta say that I absolutely love them!



Berardi says, "...It’s just like wearing a regular shoe. They are graceful and there is a ballerina nature about them. Having a heel is really just psychological.”

Pretty Things...Fergalicious

"I have always loved fashion, because it’s a great way to express your mood...I’m definitely a shoe lover!” Says the singer, Fergie in regards to her new line of shoes.

…and we can’t wait to check it out when her line launches next Spring 2009!

This week the singer unveiled her new line of footwear for Brown Shoes at the World Shoe Accessories trade show in Las Vegas.


The line ranges from heels and wedges, to sneakers and sandals, consisting of two divisions: “Fergie” {to showcase the singer's confident "glam rock" side} and “Fergalicious by Fergie” {trendier, sportier, and more "pop rock}. Ummm,...they sound very similar, so we’ll just have to wait to see what the difference between the two divisions really is.

“I have always loved fashion because it’s a great way to express your mood. And I’m definitely a shoe lover. The right pair of shoes can change the feel of an outfit, and even change how a woman feels about herself. A woman can wear confidence on her feet with a high stiletto, or slip into weekend comfort with a soft ballet flat.”
