  “I get all the symptoms of a pregnant woman. I get headaches, I get tired, I get blurred vision sometimes during a really intense session with {her creative team} the Haus.”

On her former career {not the stripping, but waitressing}:

“I was really good at it. I always got big tips. I always wore heels to work! I told everybody stories, and for customers on dates, I kept it romantic. It’s kind of like performing.”

On her future family:

“In eight to 10 years, I want to have babies for my Dad to hold, grandkids. And I want to have a husband who loves and supports me, just the way anyone else does. I would never leave my career for a man right now, and I would never follow a man around.”

Lately we've been crushing BIG TIME on a certain little cutie with blond hair, a crooked mischievous-looking smile and quirky offbeat style...DREW BARRYMORE.

Recently, she made her directorial debut with "Whip It" after a decade of producing movies like "Charlie's Angels," "Fever Pitch" and cult favorite "Donnie Darko."

Although it was a hard choice, our pick for best dressed of the evening goes to Miss Drew in this gorgeous peach Monique Lhuillier gown. She plays it simply and elegantly with the right makeup, hair and minimal accessories.

Alicia Witt

She almost made it as our best dressed of the evening as we LOVE LOVE LOVE this gown...plus she looks absolutely gorgeous post-'That 70's Show' with her flowing red tresses and minimal makeup. Too bad her accessories are what held her back on the win. They just weren't quite right and appeared a bit cheap and heavy looking.

The one thing that we didn't love enough to put it on top and almost pushed it to our "Meh" category was the abundance of ruffles. Otherwise it's a win.

She's stunning. ...Love the makeup, hair, shoes, dress and the vampy red mystique of it all...but the abundance of tulle we could do without. This Monique Lhuillier dress only shorter {and with less tulle} would be to die for!

Miley Cyrus, age 16 ( ! ), at the Teen Choice Awards virtually pantless and grinding it on a stripper pole!

And, not only that...what's up with her provocative dancing and half-naked back up dancers?

I suppose there's not much more left Miley can do really. I mean once you've posed for photos whilst laying in your father's crotch, dated a 20 year old male model when you're still a minor, have dressed in the teeniest of mini skirt and hooker pumps and have writhed around in public on a stripper pole, what IS left?

Her parents obviously have no control over her now as she can buy and sell both of them. They actually sat in the audience of the Teen Choice Awards and cheered her on.

I suppose that whenever Disney FINALLY realises what they are really promoting to the youth of America and her career does start to wane, there's still a Playboy layout, a sex tape that mysteriously gets out and future pole wrangling at Crazy Horse.

TMZ.com posted this picture and scam artists are most likely already hard at work copying it.
Craigslist Los Angeles is FULL of people trying to sell "tickets" possibly even printed off of this very photo, so we'd recommend not buying any tickets to the memorial from people you don't know.

It's gonna be a MADHOUSE on all of the LA freeways {yes, worse than normal...} due to people trying to drive close to and around the Staples Center area, so if you have to travel anywhere in LA tomorrow for work or appointments, you better leave NOW and stay close to where you need to be.

I wasn't going to post a 'tribute' to Michael Jackson since I still can't believe that he's actually gone, but this illustration is just too cute, so I decided to just reminisce a little bit.

...and I just came across this. Who remembers when Madonna sampled Michael Jackson's song "Billie Jean" during her 'Like a Virgin' Tour back in 1985? {The "Billie Jean" sample is around 2:36 in the video.}




It all brings back so many memories of being a child growing up in the 70s and 80's. I got to experience the Jackson5 as well as Michael Jackson. I personally feel so fortunate to have grown up in the 80's since it was a decade of such individuality, unlike now.

"Billie Jean" {the MJ version} was the first video that I actually remember from when Mtv first came on air. ...And who could ever forget when he first did the 'moonwalk'? We were all just in awe!



Obviously, I'm affected that an icon from my childhood has passed...as everyone is. I think it's because it's a reality check...reminding us of our own mortality. Michael was a talent who kept us all entertained, whether it was with his talent or his personal drama. It all seems too unreal that his talent is gone. *sniff sniff*
p.s. Mikiep is still convinced that this is part of a what will be the largest publicity stunt ever and that MJ will be with us again in about a week or two.

We doubt it, but we can only hope...

Really it's just a wig from a photo shoot she did this past weekend, but she’s contemplating the BIG change for real to this colour made popular by Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez. ...And, YES, Men...hair colour, length change or getting bangs IS a BIG deal to us women and requires some heavy contemplation.

Our thoughts...We think she looks a little TOO much like a Beyonce wanna-be with it, but with that gorgeous face, she looks great either way.

“I did a fabulous photo shoot this weekend and they put this hair piece on! I haven’t taken it off since, because I’m really loving the look.”

Pretty Things Fashion: Country Music Awards

Even if we aren't necessarily country music fans, we still appreciate that their stars are finally stepping up and discovering designer fashion. Here, our picks for best and worst dressed at the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

The Best...

Julianne Hough - Our pick for best dressed of the evening, Julianne looked gorgeous in this Zuhair Murad gown.

Taylor Swift - Taylor looked demure in this gorgeous hot red gown with dramatic diagonal seams by Angel Sanchez.

Reba McEntire- We love Reba and she looked amazing in this beautiful ombred purple wrap front gown, which complemented her red hair perfectly.


Carrie Underwood - Many picked Carrie in this beautiful blush coloured one-shouldered gown by Randi Rahm as their favourite for the evening...and we agree that she did look quite elegant.


LeeAnn Womack - Even though many picked LeeAnn's strapless short dress as one to put on their 'Worst Dressed' list, we liked it, but think she should have pulled her hair up and worn strappy black heels for a more elegant look.


Gloriana - Our choice for best dressed group of the evening, all of their outfits were complementary and well styled.

The Worst...

Kellie Pickler - This Zuhair Murad gown is just all wrong...too tight, too gold and too fish tailed. And, just because one wears a super tight dress with the "girls" pushed up to the heavens doesn't mean they look hot...ask Beyonce, uhh, I mean "Sasha Fierce".

LeAnn Rimes - Her short dress with ill-placed 'origami style' folds didn't do her justice...and neither did her accesories.

Nicole Kidman - Haven't we seen her in this before? Whatever the case, this L'Wren Scott open back gown {designed by a stylist even!} doesn't do her justice...and neither does that hair style.

Little Big Town - Compared to our pick for "Best Dressed Band" this group looked like they didn't care that they were going to an awards ceremony and just threw on the first thing they could find clean in their closets. Our suggestion...Hire a stylist.
