Meet the artist: Kim Parker, textile artist

Spode, that bastion of English country style has released a fresh new pattern, create by textile artist Kim Parker.

I just love this whimsical set called Emma's Garland. So light and breezy!

Viesso - customized upholstered furnishings

I'm loving this furniture collection from Viesso, based in Santa Monica. This black and white floral chair (above) is fun and fabulous. Their fabrics are modern and graphic, yet still soft and laid back. They offer great customization options on their website - you can virtually build your item and order it. They offer three week turn around for custom sofas, chairs, benches, beds and pillows and can ship anywhere in the US.

The owners, Ryan Shultz, Travis Nagle and Alex Contreras thought there must be a better way to get custom furniture that's environmentally friendly and doesn't take 12-16 weeks for delivery. Looks like they found it.


Check out their website, which includes tips for furniture layouts and lots of fabric choices. But, if all the choice isn't enough, they even make house calls!
