Look What We Dug Up

There is a term in the vernacular of glass-blowing called "Scavo"...a word used to describe to process in which a corrosive chemical is added to created a rough surface quality to the glass for an antiqued look of an artifact just dug up. Barbini created this future classic bud vase in the 60s.
