Montreal in black and white

Montreal.

What can I say? How can I describe my visit in just one word?
LOVE . That is the first word that comes to mind.
What an amazing city.
The architecture, the people, the amazing food. Everything about my trip made me happy and I can’t wait to plan another trip to visit again soon.

I have come to realize that I am a “BIG CITY PERSON”- and as much as I think that I will enjoy a few days in the country and getting away from it all, I really yearn for streets, action and noise. I love being able to walk places, jump in a taxi, take the subway, grab a cup of coffee and linger for hours at a restaurant.

I was most in love with the architecture in Montreal. Here are a few photos to share with you. I was amazed walking down streets that things looked familiar to me in a strange way. It was like walking down the streets of Paris, New York (sections of SoHo or Brooklyn) or even London. It was like I had been there many times before. Each area of fresh and just walking and exploring you really could see why Montreal is a favorite to so many. Everywhere you turned and around every corner was something new.

(On a side note to the beauty, if you are planning a trip to Montreal, know that Sunday and Mondays are not the best days to be there, as many stores, museums and restaurants are closed)
