Yesterdays easy plan ride from Venice to Frankfurt to San Francisco had a bit of excitement when we flew over Greenland and there became a medical emergency on the flight and we did a u-turn back to Reykjavik, Iceland!
Thank goodness the passenger was alright and received immediate medical attention- but it left us with a bit of a mess as the plane could no longer make it back with the same crew to San Francisco. So the final choice was to fly from Reykjavik to Washington DC- where I am currently typing on my freshly charged laptop. We arrived at 3.30am and I at least slept for a few hours. Taking the 11am flight back to San Francisco this morning- raining hard with thunder and lighting- so I hope that this flight goes alright! I am sorting through more photos on the plane home today- but here are a few more from Venice!
