Born 1946, Walter Pfeiffer has been working out of his native Zurich since the late ‘60s. His images of youth and beauty have inspired a generation of photographers like Ryan McGinley, Terry Richardson, Wolfgang Tillmans and Juergen Teller. Pfeiffer’s work is exhibited extensively and he has four books to his name: Walter Pfeiffer 1970 – 1980 (1980), Das Auge, die Gedanken, unentwegt wandernd, (1986), Welcome Aboard, Photographs 1980 – 2000 (2001) and Night and Day (2007).
