Design Within Reach announces design contest winners

Four Pratt Institute students from the Department of Industrial Design have received recognition for their designs as part of a competition sponsored by Design Within Reach (DWR) and conducted in conjunction with the fifth annual BKLYN DESIGNS show.

The first-place student design award went to Liz Kinnmark, a 2007 graduate from Evanston, Ill.

Kinnmark’s first-place design project is titled Egg Pants. I first saw these adorable little egg cups on Design*Sponge a couple of months ago and am so taken with them. For more information, click here.

Liz has let me know that she has a limited supply, sold in sets of 2, of Egg Pants available at her Etsy Shop. So, waddle on over! (these guys look like waddlers, don't they?) I just bought a set and they're going fast!
