Top Design - Judging the designs - Episode 5

Episode 5: "Garage Band" - clean, organize and design a "garage for all seasons"
Clients: Bell Family (mom, dad, girl, girl, boy, dog)
Team Challenge - Andrea as lead designer for having the winning design
Budget: $5,100.00
Time frame: 2 days

I've got nothing on this one.

Nothing to judge, nothing to say.

Ok, lot's to say. Basically, once again, there wasn't time to design or execute a good plan. Andrea's design plan was selected by the family, which gave her team leader status and immunity. So, no matter how badly it came out, she wouldn't go home. I wonder, did that effect her desire to motivate her team? If she were actually on the line, I wonder if she would have been so hands off with some of the designers.

The rest of the designers were in the tough position - either be good team players or push their own voice into the project. All were criticized by the judges for their various choices.

As a designer, there is nothing to judge here. The guest judge - Mark Rios of Not Neutral - had nothing really constructive to offer.

Anyway, as I said, I'm trying, but I got nothing. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe with help.

Maybe I'll see what my blogger friends are saying and I'll just copy them. You know what they say - imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I'm so bored I'm changing the colors of my text. That's how bored I am! (Note that I'm using Michael Purple.)
