wishlist addition and christmas

how cute are these! Very nice idea. Esp if you know how i love kiss-clasps!!

so why is christmas so... difficult to get by without thinking about presents and getting? i'd like not to think or worry about giving and getting for once. not even a dinner. not even a brunch. just being.

for once i'd like my christmas to be spent:

remembering Christ birth, and more importantly, triumphing over Death at the cross
listening to a few choice hymns
being able to reconcile a tumultous relationship
rebuild trust
rekindle old interests
reconnect with an old friend over hot chocolate and warm slippers
walk along the beach with my daughter and husband with no thought to lunches, gifts, travelling etc.
