This is a rather illuminated example of what the Italians call 'Zanfirico'...the complex glass blowing process of twisted filigree or 'Filigrana a Retortoli'. This color combination of hot pink and deeply saturated gold leaf is particularly stunning and the pattern is virtually mesmerizing.
