A wonderful Saturday lunch in Healdsburg with the lovely and talented design duo- Myra and Wade Hoefer.
Myra (who is a well known interior designer) is just SO fabulous with her French inspired- light and airy designs- with pale color palettes- layered with details and history around every corner. Wade (her husband- a well known artist)- who's landscape artwork is yet modern and fresh and a perfect addition to any home (I am SO happy that a client of mine recently selected a HUGE landscape for their living room).
Sandwiches, cookies, iced tea with the sun glowing with a light breeze in the air. This lunch at the "ivy house" was just a delight.
Seeing how they live and work (Myra's design studio is in adorable little cottage behind their property) is always a favorite thing for me to see when spending time with other designers. They live a relaxed California lifestyle (and also split their time in Paris where they have an apartment).
Being in this house is like magic- you feel relaxed and like you are in a different world...
